You may know my brand or me on social media as The Pawsitive Dog Mom! I am a dog mom, an entrepreneur, a coach and a creative.
Welcome to my career coaching and design page. I have had a wonderful career full of exciting adventures. I started in Corporate IT and after 20 years decided to make a change and moved into Public Education. I knew that despite the fact I loved making the impact on students as a teacher, my heart was calling me to be a Stay at Home Dog Mom and a Business Owner. In 2021 after finding Human Design, I took a leap of faith and left my full time career to build a business that I loved.
Over the years I have been a business owner, Project Manager, Corporate Trainer, Project Change Lead, Personal Development Coach, Youth leader and a Science Teacher. I have worked in large corporations, small companies and everything in between.
The best lesson I learned through all of my years in the workforce is that a career is NOT one size fits all. I have often wondered why I just never felt like I quiet fit in until I found Human Design. Once I realize that I was born with an amazing design that was different from many of the people I know and work with, I allowed myself the permission to be different.
Through studying Human Design, I watched all of the puzzle pieces fit in place for me. I understood why I was so comfortable in some situations, but just felt lost in jobs that I felt should have been something easy for me.
Once you realize that are not designed like anyone else, it really gives you to go after the a career that will bring you success and joy. There is so much freedom in understanding your design. It gives you the power to say YES to opportunities that will change your life and opens up the door for you to really work in your zone of genius.
I no longer consider my failures negative, but instead just the universe providing me the direction I needed to be successful in my own design.
As a projector, I represent a design that is less than 20% of the population. I am in my zone of genius when I am creating and guiding others in how to best direct their energy. I realized that through my own mistakes in my career, I could help other people take control of their careers by understanding their designs, discovering their passions and taking a chance on a career that would bring them joy.
